In Greene County magistrate court Bobby Lee Hunt of Churdan was sentenced Nov. 26 to 10 days in jail after he pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct- fighting/violent behavior. The jail term was suspended and he was placed on unsupervised probation to the Greene County sheriff for one year. He must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and comply with all recommendations. He was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. A charge of domestic abuse assault was dismissed. Court costs were $234.10.
Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Andrew Vernon Wempe of Scranton, possession of drug paraphernalia; Ashley Marie McGrauth of Jefferson, interference with official acts; Gideon Norman Van Wyk of Coon Rapids, public intoxication; Kenny Millard of Jefferson, theft- fifth degree; and Brooklyn Ruby Renshaw of Scranton, possession of drug paraphernalia.
